A lovely campsite in Strontian close to the shores of Loch Sunart. Tim, Lynn and Ellie, your hosts, as well as tent pitches and hard standings, offer some glamping opportunities with three bespoke cedar wood cabins – a 2-person, 4 person and 6 person cabins. They are fully insulated with underfloor heating for a dry cosy alternative to sleeping under canvas. The four-person cabin houses a double bed settee and two bunk beds, microwave and kettle. Pillows, cutlery and crockery are also provided. Each cabin has electric sockets for your use. The six-person cabin boasts the addition of a shower and toilet room, plus small kitchen area with induction hob.
The campsite is well equipped and close to the village shop, craft shop and a walk through the community woodland to the Bothy Bar and Restaurant, Strontian’s local pub. We welcome motorcycle groups and a workshop is on site should any motorbike or cycle repairs be required.
Mountain bikes can also be hired from Sunart Cycles. Fishing tackle is available to fish the freshwater rivers and the sea loch.
