Each village has its own hall hosting local events and offering a range of facilities:

MOBILE COVERAGE: We have EE, Vodafone and O2 but it varies across the peninsulas. OFCOM has a map that can be used to check coverage of major networks . You do need to know a postcode though, but can move the map around to get to where they will be staying.

- Glenuig: Glenuig Community Hall
- Acharacle: next to the village shop
- Strontian: behind Strontian Stores
- Ardgour: next to the Corran Ferry slipway in the Ardgour Inn
- Lochaline: at the Calmac pier
- Kilchoan: at Kilchoan Community Centre, Pier Road and near the Calmac pier
RECYCLING & REFUSE COLLECTION
Highland Council operate alternate weekly collections for refuse bins (green) and recycling bins (blue). Please check the information provided by your host or Highland Council as to what materials are recycled. For example, glass isn’t collected and should be taken to a recycling point:
- Acharacle: next to the shop and public toilets.
- Ardgour: next to the primary school.
- Strontian: near the village green and phone box.
- Lochaline: near the shop.
- Kilchoan: at the Sanna crossroads.
