In the homely living area you'll love cosy nights by the wood burning stove, with plenty of super comfy sofas to curl up on.
Lazy mornings, preparing the perfect cooked breakfast is a breeze in the well equipped kitchens, especially with delicious golden yoked free-range eggs available! But if you don't fancy cooking there are restaurants only a stroll away.
For the outdoor enthusiast walks, hiking, cycling and fishing are on the doorstep with many other activities close by. An abundance of nature awaits your discovery. With garden feeders always well stocked you'll see all the usual garden favourites as well as some more unusual visitors. Lucky guests may even see the resident pine marten!
Children will love meeting the animals and may even want to help collect freshly laid eggs. In 2018, we hand raised Christopher Robin a Castlemilk Moorit lamb who is extremely friendly and loves meeting children.
The sun-room usually let with Honeysuckle House has plenty of toys, puzzles and games to keep young children occupied on rainy days, and Rose Cottage also has plenty to entertain. There is WiFi in both properties.
The ground floor is wheelchair accessible throughout. Wheel-in wet rooms with underfloor heating and mobility aids makes travel away from home that bit less stressful. Take a look at the access statement for more information.
As Green Tourism Gold Star holders every effort is made to look after the environment both in the holiday homes and on the Croft. You are invited to help in this effort and we are happy to chat about how the award was achieved. In June 2017 Bluebell Croft had Gold status renewed, with an increased score than in previous years.
A mouth-watering welcome pack awaits your arrival. At Bluebell Croft organic produce is grown in season to purchase during your stay and meals can be prepared for small groups. Pre-ordered specialty produce can also be arranged for you.

The properties are dog friendly, but as there are sheep and free-range poultry on the croft, your dog will need to be kept under control at all times.
Security Deposit
A security deposit will be taken on booking. This deposit is refundable, in whole or in part, after the property has been inspected after departure and cleaning, minus any damages incurred during your stay. Rose deposit is £150, Honeysuckle House £250 and The Whole House £400. Management reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning if the property is not left in a tidy and clean condition, and extra cleaning is needed over and above usual. Please adhere to correct waste and recycling disposal as charges may also be made if staff need to sort out dustbins, glass bins and recycling. You can see our full terms and conditions here.
